Hello readers, I just got back home from one long night of waiting in line, in the sweltering desert heat of Las Vegas (yes even in the middle of the night you feel like you’re melting.) But it was all well worth it, as soon as I walked in I cracked open my Collector’s Edition of Starcraft II and I am currently anxiously waiting for it to finish installing.

Nokia’s Q2 result brought further sad news regarding the company’s performance in the highly competitive mobile phone market. It’s profits fell 40% to 227 million euros. Microsoft continues to amaze us. They have announced a new milestone in Windows 7 sales – 175 million copies. Microsoft says that this means they are selling more than 7 copies per second.
As of 22nd of July Windows 7 is running on 16% of the worlds computers. This is the fastest selling operating system in the world now.
