PC World – More people browsed the Internet last month with a device running Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS, instead of Linux. That’s a first for Apple, according to NetMarketShare, a firm that produces metrics on the market share of browsers, operating systems and search engines.

Google Labs brought out something new: Android App Inventor. This piece of software is said to make it easy for everyone, weather you are professional programmer or just the plain old guy next door.

We introduced Android 2.2 Froyo quite a while ago. And now the Android Developers Blog gave us some details about this cool new feature of Android 2.2!
Seems like we are no longer limited by the internal memory of the phone, since we are now able to put our apps on the phones external memory.

The Samsung Wave may have just hit the stores and Bada is still not ripe but Samsung is already planning to announce its successor, the Wave 2, along with a Wave 2 Pro, expecting to pack a QWERTY keyboard going by its name. Android may be on the rise exponentially, but it still has a long way to go if it has to get anywhere near the market share of the iPhone OS.

HTC announced a new phone recently- the wildfire.
The device will operate on Android OS 2.1,Eclair,will use HTC’s Sense UI and have a 5 MP camera.
If you are already impressed,tone down expectation as this was the only part to be impressed with.

Google has finally unveiled the next version of Android mobile operating system,version 2.2 codenamed “Froyo”.
